Fine Art Photo Giclee Printing

Island Blue now specializes in the Fine Art/Photo “Giclee” printing of original paintings, watercolours, sketches, photographs and digitally enhanced images utilizing Epson’s newest wide format - archival ink print system.

From the digital image capture of an original, Island Blue prints on a variety of fine artist papers, photographic papers, and canvas. Other specialty rigid substrates including aluminum, plexiglas and wooden panels can be printed to a "display art" standard in our Large Format Department. 

Working directly with our highly experienced graphic professionals, artists and photographers move through a process that allows island Blue to produce a print as close to the original in colour and detail as possible.

For larger projects, we can assist our clients with their framing with the artist/ photographer can choose their own moulding, mat boards and glass to completely finish their work-of-art.   

Digital Image Capture

It is important for us to capture as much colour and detail as possible from the original, this can be accomplished with Island Blue handling the scanning process. Our graphic professionals take the digital image and using the original as reference, produce a colour proof on the chosen media.

Print Production and Media

Prints are produced on our Epson Sure Color P10000 printer, the all-new 10 colour archival ink technology using four levels of gray to remove grain and provide outstanding tonal transitions thus creating colour performance.

For large Fine Arts project, Island Blue Print is pleased to assist with a full range of professional custom framing services. We will work with frame partners, for our clients of large projects, to provided added convenience of printing with Island Blue Print.
